Peace begins when communities are heard — and given the space to heal, together.
In Unity State, two communities had been locked in a cycle of cattle raiding and revenge attacks for over a decade. CCMO facilitated a series of dialogues — bringing elders, youth leaders, women, and local authorities to the same table. Over six months, trust was rebuilt. Today, the communities share water points, trade peacefully, and have established a joint peace committee. Revenge attacks have dropped by 65%.
